Bio
Kayla Dickson is a wardrobe and laydown stylist whose work highlights her attention to graceful layering and playful color. Kayla loves the power that clothing gives people to express themselves in practical and tangible ways. She is known for bringing good energy and a calming presence to set and believes that staying light-hearted and cool-headed contributes to a successful shoot and better imagery.
Born and raised in California, Kayla grew up steeped in creativity, always drawing, sewing, and playing dress up. She worked for over 10 years in the world of retail window displays and merchandising, honing skills that translated to both still life and on-figure styling. One of her favorite things about the photo industry is that every project is different—in different places and with different people all coming together to tackle the challenge of fulfilling a creative vision.
